Food Product Sales
Because Mike’s Wild Rub & Spice is a consumable food product, we generally do not accept returns of opened items for health, safety, and quality-control reasons.
If your item has been opened, used, or tampered with, it is generally not eligible for return or refund unless required by law or unless there is a verified issue with the product.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
When contacting us, please include:
your full name
order number
a description of the issue
clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label, if applicable
If we determine that the item arrived damaged, defective, or that the wrong item was sent, we may, at our discretion:
replace the item
issue a partial refund
issue a full refund
provide store credit
We reserve the right to request additional information before approving any refund or replacement request.
Returns of Unopened Items
In some cases, unopened and unused items may be eligible for return if approved by us in writing in advance.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
be unopened
be unused
be in its original condition
be in its original packaging
be returned within 14 days of delivery, unless otherwise required by law
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/defective product.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for return packages lost in transit.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless required by law:
opened food or seasoning products
used products
gift cards, if applicable
promotional or clearance items marked final sale
items damaged due to misuse, improper storage, or handling after delivery
Refund Process
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Please allow a reasonable amount of time for the refund to be processed. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take several business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the refund is due to our error, a damaged or defective item, or as otherwise required by law.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Orders may only be canceled before they have been processed or shipped. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it may no longer be canceled and will instead be subject to this Refund Policy.
We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory issues, or other business-related reasons. If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, we will refund the amount paid.
Subscription Orders
If subscription or recurring purchase options are offered, you are responsible for managing or canceling your subscription before the next billing date.
Charges for subscription orders already processed may be non-refundable once the order has been prepared or shipped, unless otherwise required by law.
Lost or Stolen Packages
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages marked as delivered by the shipping carrier. If you believe your package was lost or stolen, please contact the shipping carrier directly and also notify us so we can try to assist.
Any replacement or refund for lost or stolen packages will be handled at our discretion and on a case-by-case basis.
Chargebacks
If you experience an issue with your order, we encourage you to contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the matter.
Improper or fraudulent chargebacks may be disputed with the payment processor and may affect your ability to make future purchases from us.

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to limit any rights you may have under applicable California law or other applicable consumer protection laws.
